If Jessica Simpson aka Jonathan Yaniv had been hung long maybe we all wouldn’t have had to go through all these 7 years of nightmares? Jokes aside, this is an amazing decision by the CRT and we encourage all of you to read this court decision – a full copy will be posted below – or grab your copy on the CRT site.
Jessica Simpson tried the old fake-service-dog-rejection-caused-an-insulin-problem-because-you-didn’t-give-me-food-shtick that Jessica used against Milos Greek, and Afghan Kabob and a pharmacy when Rexy was a puppy. This time Yaniv took on a gas station convenience store. Hung Long Enterprises Inc. doing business as Milner Husky & Convenience Store, located at 6830 216 Street, in Langley, BC. Some time in 2023 (the Case file number has 2023 in it) Jessica Simpson is denied entry at a gas station because of Rexy the non-service dog. JYS alleges a diabetic incident resulted and asks for $5,000 in damages for injuries.
I guess trying to sue the Subway literally next door wasn’t an option? Jess really needed that Snickers bar.
So let’s go through this terrible legal waste of time with some highlights.
(a) Jessica also named Tuyet Khanh Holdings, who never responded, and no one knows why they were even added on the claim, and as such the Tribunal Member said, chuck that out.
(b) Jessica provided no evidence of the claims. The owner of the gas station store asked for proof Rexy was a service dog, and when Jessica said I don’t have to provide proof, the owners said get out.
(c) Hung Long KNEW about the previous restaurant grift and another pharmacy grift (Simpson v. Bayshore Healthcare Solutions Ltd., 2022 BCCRT 379.) that Jessica had pulled with the same exact claim of insulin “injury” due to refusal to be served with the non-service dog.
(d) The Tribunal Member IS THE SAME tribunal member that rejected the previous restaurant claim (Simpson v. Milos Greek Taverna Ltd., 2024 BCCRT 521) and he also handled the Simpson v. The Owners, Strata Plan BCS 3591 case.
(c) The Tribunal Member would ONLY look at the accusation of negligence by the gas station store employee, and in that capacity Simpson provided NO evidence that a case of diabetes required specific medical attention that day during the incident. In fact, the graph provided by Simpson was completely useless and seemed to provide no reliable data.
(d) As such the Tribunal Member reviewed Compensation for Time Spent – Hung Long said that it wished to claim $1,000 for its time spent on the dispute. Simpson also asked for $1,000. And this is where Jessica Simpson’s grand failure shines.
- Simpson referred to three Supreme Court of Canada cases that do not exist
- Submissions go on to explain in detail what legal principles those non-existent cases stand for
- Tribunal Member notes the submissions appear generated by artificial intelligence
- Simpson admitted to using artificial intelligence
- Hung Long wastes time trying to find those non-existent cases
- Tribunal Member awards Hung Long $500 for having time wasted by Simpson
If only we could all get a little something for the time we have all had wasted by Jessica Yaniv Simpson!
We at MeowMix also love that the Tribunal Member pointed out that Jessica Simpson is NOT A LAWYER and that the use of Artificial Intelligence to write the legal submissions (which resulted in fake cases being named) was reckless.
We here at MM know it was intentional – even though Simpson said it wasn’t.
Or hey maybe Jessica is really just that stupid. At this point, probably. I mean, what kind of idiot files all these copycat lawsuits, and loses every one but keeps on trying in hopes the next one will be the winning ticket? What kind of clown continually uses fake evidence, and fake court cases in submissions? What kind of dolt then doesn’t pay their mortgage and hides from being served?
The Tribunal Member went on to say Jessica:
- “still has an obligation as a CRT participant not to provide misleading information.”
- “should have known that this claim had no prospect of success.”
- “has initiated many legal proceedings at the CRT, the Human Rights Tribunal, and the court, with little success.”
If only there was a term for that. Vex-something? Vexatious. That’s the word. Succeeding in this life was just not in JY’s cards.
